Hi people,
I would like to setup two macs at home for my new business venture. I would like to ask for your advice on the best practical way to do this.
I have two individuals who need to work on these macs and have access to each others machine via a network. I will also have to backup the work files being created on these macs on a daily basis and wondered what device i could use/purchase to carry this out.
If anybody has pointers on this, please could you let me know.
Thankyou all in advance.

If you want to synchronize the disks you can use chooser and the synchronize assistant from Apple that works with OS9.x If you want to access each other machines (run applications on a remote machine) through the network you can use appletalk through the tcp/ip address. However; this is a very slow process. If you just want a common drive use an external ethernet drive that can be accessed by both machines. Buy a second one as a backup or just buy a RAID system if you have the money.
