For the life of me, I can't get auto updater to run. I simply get a
message box that says "Auto Updater unable to run". I've
tried to reinstall it and still nothing. Any ideas? Is it 9.2.2
screwing it up? Also, is there a software update program for
non-Apple programs that'll run on OS 9.2?? Please help...

Is your network connection working properly?

If you toss out the prefs file for Software Update, does that make any difference?

Oh yeah, and look at MacUpdate for the non-Apple software updaters. There are at least a couple programs that are very similar, if not identical.
