I have a very interesting request. I have two machines, a 1GHz 15" Powerbook G4, and an Athlon XP 2200+ desktop running Windows XP Pro. Since i have a lot of songs i've bought with the iTunes music store, i must play them on my powerbook. however, the sound sucks if it needs to fill an entire room. But, my JBL Creature Speaker system is hooked up to my Windows XP box. What i need is an audio server setup, but in reverse, in that i can play a song in iTunes, but have the audio come out from my windows XP box. is this possible? the cable for the speaker isn't nearly long enough to switch it out and plug it into my powerbook, and its annoying to crawl behind the desk anyways. also, this will be convenient as my powerbook connects to the network/internet via airport. then i can stream wirelessly audio from my powerbook to my xp box, and out the speakers. any ideas?

All you need is one of the various MP3 streaming servers for OS X and a streaming client on your XP box.
