ASP on Apache Web Server on OSX

Comment:
I am developing a site in ASP, with ADO connections to an SQL Server database. I am currently using IIS on my desktop sys. I need to develop on the go, so I need to use my Ibook.
1) can the Apache Web Server that is built into OS X run ASP and/or ADO?
2) Is there any other Web server for Mac that can run like IIS?

1) not natively, but i think there is an apache module out there for it. go to apache.org and search their modules pages.
2) AFAIK, there isn't anything better than apache for OS X. but consider porting your code to PHP... it'll be worth the effort

There isn't anything "better" than Apache for *any* platform. IIS is the worst Web server out there.

you can get iASP from
http://www.stryon.com/
the installer will expire after 30 days, but just re- install to reset it for another 30 - an ok solution as long as you are using it for 'home' use / develop, testing.
i had a bit of trouble getting through the installation - you need to have some shell skills in the terminal - check the iASP forum for help with this if you need it
