I do not have Appleworks/Clarisworks on my system. Does anyone know of any viewer that will let me open the files?

Office can import a lot of that stuff if you
have it.

Try versiontracker.com, but I haven't heard
of anything explicitly for that purpose that
isn't commercial software, and the
cheapest commercial software would be
buying a copy of AppleWorks :)
