what'd you do if there's no zone available in AppleTalk? we used to have couple of zones, and one morning it just disappeared.
Why is that? all the cable connection is there. TCP/IP is still working but not appletalk.
can anyone help?

Did that. I also zapped PRAM and rebuilt desktop, that didn't help. and this happened to all Macs ( we have about 7 Macs and all of them are having this problem)
It's more to be network problem than desktop. What's the basic network troubleshooting?

Thanks,

Andri

Zones don't create themselves. Check your AppleTalk router.

I would first just power cycle all routers switches
and hubs..... It is common(at least for us) to need
to "reset" everything after a power surge or the
like.... If that does not work follow simple network
troubleshooting.
