Hello,
I believe this has been touched on briefly, but I have come across two machines where Apple+TAB does not switch the active window.
Can anyone tell me if there is something I can do/check for to resolve this problem? I believe someone mentioned that certain applications may not support this keystroke? Does that mean, then, that if one of these applications is the active window, that Apple+TAB will not function? The user made it seem like she had this functionality before, leading me to believe that there is something I should check for...
Thanks in advance, in time I hope to be answering others questions and contributing to the discussions rather then just taking from them!

Unless the Mac in question is running OS 8.5 or later and the Application Switcher is turned on, or a third-party switcher is installed, cmd-tab doesn't do anything.
Grab a freeware utility called Dock Manager Lite from Versiontracker.com and use that to manage it.

Thanks P,
The OS is in fact 9.1. How do I confirm that the application switcher is open? I assume it's a little window-type app that will be floating somewhere?
If CMD-TAB is not working, that not being open could be the issue - that being said, how do I reopen it? I checked the Apple support forum, which said something about "tearing it away from the Application menu"....could you explain it a little clearer mate?
Thanks!

The App Switcher palette doesn't actually
have to be open; in fact, I prefer to leave
mine closed.Grab Dock Manager Lite. It'll handle all
that for you and is laid out quite simply
with good help.p
