Has anyone got any thoughts on this
Appleshare problem:

I'm running system 8.5.1 on a G3.
The whole system crashed after trying to
access a corrupt zip disc.
I clean installed the system from the CD,
but it still refuses to start up with
Appleshare installed. Ethernet and Open
Transport are all running fine, the
problem is with the Appleshare
extension.

Any ideas would be useful.

thanks

Thros away your AppleShare Prep file and your Users and Groups Data File (in the Preferences folder). Toss out the File Sharing CP Prefs and the File Sharing folder in there as well.

Restart and see if that cures it.

If not, try tossing out the Finder Preferences too.
