Hello, I am trying to setup a little webserver for myself to store information I would like to access anywhere (non-personal ... tech documents and stuff like that) and I am encountering a weird problem. When ever I go to my domain (whatever.com) it works ok. But if I try to go to a directory (whatever.com/whatever), it say the page cannot be displayed (not a file not found - if I spell it wrong I get a file not found).

This is when trying to access it from another computer. When I am accessing it from my computer, it works fine. I thought it was a rights issue, but the directory is set to read, and read/write for me.

Any help would be appreciated!

~Rich

1. Do you have an index.html in the subdirectory /Library/WebServer/Documents/whatever/ (or wherever if you changed the DocumentRoot option)?

2. What happens when you select a specific document as in: http://whatever.com/whatever/mydocument.html ?

Yes, I do have an index.html file in my root directory for my web server, and subfolders

When I access whatever.com/whatever/index.html I get the document index.html but without index.html, I get nothing.

Thanks for your help!
