Comment: I am nervously considering upgrading from OS9.0.4 to OS9.1, via the software upgrade which can be downloaded at Apple.com. I'm not planning on purchasing the system CD ROM at this point. What issues/potential headaches might arise with the upgrade? Many thanks for your thoughts on this. Phil

Reply: (edit)You should have no proble. There's nothing to watch out for. It should install fine, and will run better than 9.0.4.

Reply: (edit)Would you believe I just finished upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1 about 5 minutes ago? Must be fate! My first try was to download from internet. It indicated download time would be 7 hrs. I inadvertently picked up my telephone after 6 hours and lost the whole thing. Went to the Apple Store where they instructed me on how to burn a CD. Took about 10 minutes there compared to 7 hours here. No charge. Installation here today from CD took 13 minutes followed by a lot of questions that added to the time somewhat. Good Luck.
