I would like to know how to add a printer to the network using a Mac?
Thank you.

The best way is a HP jetdirect that supports ethertalk and you need a post script printer.

I have a Mac / PC network with Apple and
HP printers and Xerox photocopiers
attached. We are using static IP
addresses with AppleTalk and Apple
Printer Utility to configure the printers.
These printers can then be configured
through the regular Mac Chooser.
