I have added a 400 gb hd to a powermac G4, can
anyone tell me if I need to install a controller card to be
able to access my full hard drive, because I can only
see 127 gb of it now.

I think that's the limit, 128 GB. But you can look on this site for a controller card: http://www.macsales.com/

if they don't have it, it can't be done.
