Hi

Managed to record a song from cassete tape directly onto my iMac hard drive in AIFF format - using 'spin doctor'. Thereafter tried to burn audio file onto CD but when I play CD all I hear is a buzzing with the odd musical note here and there. I have tried buring at 8, 4 and 2. Still get same result. an anyone advise please

can you play the aiff file from your harddisk? what program are you using to burn the file to the CD?

the adaptec toast can copy dvd but only on the mac ...
