Comment:

My PC can see the MAC on the network, but it
asks me for a password to access the MAC.
I never setup a password for access on the MAC.
I am probably doing something stupid. Any help
would be appreciated.

Go into Control Panels - File Sharing,
select the Start/Stop tab and make sure
the boxes in there are filled in. That might
help.

If you just click OK instead of entering a password, does it work? If there's no password, you don't need to enter one, but it *will* ask for one.

Clicking ok w/out a password doesn't work. I don't
know how windows made a password.
Confusing.
