A script error has occured

OK so my grandfather has a Imac G3 and when he surfs the web he gets an error that pops up and says "a script error has occured" something to that affect. then it says to continue runng the script or something click yes or no. If you click yes the page loads fine but how do I get the error to go away.Please help. I am not a mac user. thanks
oh yeah and i updated IE for him and it still does it.

It's a javascript 'error'..IE gives that whenever it encounters javascript it doesn't recognize.. Strictly speasking, it's an IE error..usually happens a lot more on windows, actually, in older (5x and lower ) versions of IE...nothing to do with your mac. Ignore it..
