Hello,
I have a *newer* PowerMac that has an OLD Apple monitor hooked up (Apple Color Plus '14). I would like to set it at 800x600 resolution, but the OS wont let me. When I hook it to my Mac II, it has a program that forces 800x600, but the program wont work under OS 8. Is there a program I can use to force it to 800x600 under OS 8? thanks alot in advance

some of the older apple monitors just dont like to get along.
If I remember correctly the 14' monitors don't like the higher resolutions, but the 15 can do 800x600.
To be honest you can go to any computer store that has the older apple monitors and pick up a 15 inch for 10-20 dollars.
sorry it doesn't help but at least there are alternatives.
