6100 Rom Slots

OS: System 8.0
CPU/Ram: 6100 64megs of Ram

On my 6100 board there are two brown slots other than the RAM slots. They are not the ram slots. I think they are the Rom slots. One of tose slots is filled with a chip but the other one is not. If I ad another rom chip to the second rom slot will that help performance?

Speaking of 6100's: I recently maxed out
the memory on my 6100/66 with two
Kingston 32mb simms for $9.99. Found
on EBay.
