Hi, I just got a PowerPC 7600/132 desktop through eBay and successfully upgraded it to a 400 MHz G3 Sonnet card. After I put the card in, I installed a USB PCI card. It shows up in Apple System Profiler (devices and volumes), but anything I plug into it doesn't work (optical mouse). In the profiler, it says "no devices found on this bus" 4 times because of the four USB ports the card has. Why is saying this? I have tried downloading anything USB related for Mac OS because I tried doing research on this, but nothing has got my mouse to work yet. I know it's good too because it works on my iMac DV 400 MHz right when you turn it on. I've now tried it in two of the three PCI slots and nothing has changed. Still have one more slot I can try, or I can test it on my PC to see if it's a bad card. I have tried OS 9 and 9.1 with identical results. I want to keep going with this project by adding a bigger hard drive, Zip, more memory, and a better video card so I can install X on it, but not until I get the USB working. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
