I just got the 30" Apple Cinema Display for my PC using Nvidia 7600GS 512MB. Some in the while, the screen appeared with lots of little white dots say stuck pixels (Bright). But they go away when I turn of the display and turn back on.

I also have the wireless router sitting in the back of the monitor, is it a change of interference?

Any help or comments will be appreciated.

I wish i had the money for a 30inch display however good luck to you.
I would be very surprised if there is anything wrong with the panel unless you bought off the back of a truck for a special price. Apple uses the best lcd panels money can buy and they are spectacular.

I feel your problem is the video card. nVidia 7600gs is a crappy card. It has an aluminum heat sink and that's it. At native resolution mode for that 30inch display 2560 x 1600 the card is going to get super hot and that is causing the pixilation’s on your screen. I would say you need to cool that card down (Look at Zalman VGA coolers) or get a 8800 nvidia card that has a monster fan built on it. High resolution and mediocre video cooling are going to cause problems. You already have the best in displays time to splurge on the video card.

Let I try to upgrade the heatsink before moving so far. My system is kind of outdate so I do not want to spend much money on the Video card (AGP) which can not be re-used when I upgrade my system (most current is PCIe). But I will let you know.

Thank for the advice.

I agree it is the video card..the demands of the monitor
are simply too much for it at that resolution..however, the
cards that came in the Mac G5s were well suited to that, I
believe they're Radeons..and a used AGP Radeon 9600
would be really inexpensive now, for example...

They do not make the 8xxx series on AGP. I may have to try the top 7xxx version or have to upgrade my whole system to take over it. Thinking about Q6600 and GeForge 8800GTS. I believe it should work, but I have to spend a little bit more time to collect all the component then build.

Is it always the same pixels that are stuck?
