Please help. I have searched for hours and have not been able to find the answer to this problem. The monitor on my iMac 233 is gone. I opened it up and disconnected the monitor cable and then the hard drive would boot (will not boot with monitor connected.). I tried hooking up an old Apple IIGS monitor, but it wouldn't work either. The cable fit, but several pins not included on GS cable. The cable has 15 pins in 2 rows, 8 on top-7 bottom. What kind of monitor will be compatible with this cable? I was preparing to install USB CDR to back up my files when the thing died and have lost my data. PLease Help! Thanks
