I have just upgraded from OS10.2 to OS10.3 and there
seems to be a few good new features, but I have found a
bit of a problem which I was wandering if any of you good
folks have come up against and if so if there is any way
round it, I use my Mac to do a lot of animation stuff, of
jpg shots of my digital camera, now a very usefull feature
of OS10.2 was that on captureing a load of shots I could
open the disk my images were on in finder, then set it to
show the files in colums which meant that which ever
image was selected would show as a thumbnail on the
right hand side of the file window, and then simply by
pressing the down arrow, I could pan smoothly through
my shots, effectivly animating the work in a very simple
way, which was a very quick way of seeing how succesfull
my shots were, but on installing 10.3 I have found that
there is about a 1/2 second delay when I pan down the
shot, which get's rid of the animation effect.

Ok sorry for my ramberiling type message, but if
anyone knows what I'm talking about and has any ideas
how to get round this problem it would be very welcom as
I am pretty close to switching back to 10.2. Ok then,
thanks for your time, andrew
