this is crazy. not a single ypops how-to in the whole www. ive just installed the ypops 0.8 rpm. man ypops doesnt work, /usr/share/doc/ypops is useless. google is useless, the program's web site and forum is useless. HELP !!!

Why bother with ypops? I'm pretty sure Yahoo curretly provide POP access. Must admit I haven't loked at ypops but if you just want to use your Yahoo mail account you can just configure your email client:
POP3 Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
User name: Your My Yahoo! ID
Password: Your My Yahoo! password
Their SMTP server runs over port 587 if you can't use 25.

Agreed. YPOP's User's Guide for Mac sucks! What's the point of offering an app, if it is not documented properly?!

And, no, Yahoo does NOT offer FREE POP access, so that's hardly an alternative.
