I know this is not a linux question but maybe it is. For some reason I click anything within Yahoo mail and it logs me out. It goes back to the page to log in. I have googled and none of the suggestions seems to be applicable to me as to what is happening. I have had this problem about a month but have not changed any setting within firefox or Yahoo so why would this happen?

Maybe that the problem is a disconnect and reconnect to the internet.
Some routers with original firmware do have such connection problems.
So you establish a session at yahoo with ip x.x.x.x, yahoo sets a cookie for that session, router looses the connection and reconnects automatically, you get another ip y.y.y.y and the cookie may be invalid.

I am not sure really what you mean but when I say it logs out it goes to a yahoo page for me to log back in even though I didn't log out. I am still on the net. Any other site that I have to log into or out of doesn't do this thing. Only Yahoo. When I press the back button in the browser sometimes I can continue with what i was doing and sometimes it continues to log me out again. I use linux so I am not afraid of some virus.

What I meant was, that some routers with the original firmware do often loose the connection to the internet. Those routers then do an auto reconnect, so that the user sometimes didn't recognize the connection loss.

If this only happen at the yahoo page, I guess it's a yahoo problem and not at your side.

I am still not sure what you mean but what I do understand is that it is not the router. It is yahoo. Everything else stays connected and logged in. Skype, gaim(which used msn and yahoo messenger etc) and whatever other sites I visit.
I wish I could sort this out. It has been happening for a while and can be very annoying. I am not closing the browser or anything like that.
