I created a new partition and installed Ubuntu 8.10. I got everything installed fine, but now when I try to boot into windows xp it restarts and asks me to pick what os I was to boot again. I can choose Ubuntu, and it works fine. I just can't boot into XP anymore.

Either have to fix grub bootloader entries (and maybe xp install) to correct the fault or return to MS's loader and re-edit it to allow ubuntu to boot as second OS.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
