hi all, i have an acer 5102 WLMI laptop, and am having a difficulty getting xorg setup. everything in gentoo is fine exept for xorg.conf, as i am at a loss on how to get it set up. i know it sounds like a noobish question, but if anybody could help me, that would rock

Try running "xorgconfig" or "xorgcfg/xorgcfg -textmode".
