Hello all, I am running Win2k Pro and basicall want to dual boot with Debian. After some reading around, XFS looked like the coolest file system. I was wondering, before I go through the install an all, how would I access the XFS from the windows side or will I need a crappy FAT32 partition in between? (Not sure if debian will support read AND write to NTFS). Thanks

I am unsure about XFS but you can access ext2/3 from within windoze with an app called explore2fs (http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm). GNU/Linux can fully access FAT and read NTFS but for safe NTFS write support you need to use captive (www.jankratochvil.net/project/captive/)
