Xfce4 run command at startup

I want to run "gnome-volume-manager" at the start of Xfce4 gui. Is that possible? I am a linux newbie keep that in mind.

Why not use the XFCE volume control on the panel? An easy way is to set everything you want running on start up and then exit the session saving it....the applications should restart then next time you log in.
