I have installed RH7.2 via graphic mode easily but after installation, startx will pose "execve /etc/X11/X (errno2)". Formerly when testing with RH7.1, I managed to startx by deleting the config and use the original config. Purposely used video s3trio3d/2x and problem is with monitor setup. Unable to use previous successful method of using the original config in XF86Conf. Anyone can advise me howto for RH7.2. Thank you. kiat_lan

errno 2 is usually file does not exist. Your probably missing some setup files. Anyways using the original config file doesn't always work but you can make your own config file with the right settings by running xf86config. It will ask you a bunch of questions, if you answer them correctly it should create the right XF86Config file which should get X running.

The config file for XFree86 has changed in version 4.x.x; it is now called XF86Config-4 instead of XF86Config. You should be able to manually edit it to tweak your settings.
