X window on RH 7.3 fails

Hi folks , i have installed RH 7.3 and my x fails to start...the setup went perfectly well during installation. I tried to install the S3 servers for my S3 card but it does not work...Xconfigurator says SegmentationFault..and X says no servers found..i tried Xf86config and XFree86Setup ...none works..i have reinstalled three times with the same problem anybody has some idea?

try to run xf86config. it is commandline but its reliable

You can also attempt to let xfree configure itself, assuming you have at least xfree 4.0. Running "XFree86 -configure" will make xfree autodetect your hardware and generate a basic config file.
