Comment:

i have a new installed red hat 9 and i tried to install the printer driver.
i have a HP 3280 and it is not in the list of available drivers known to linux. there are higher and lower numbers, though, and i tried one of them but the test page came out with gibrish.
my question is: where do i get a relevant updated printer driver for Linux, and how do i install it in the red hat 9 Gnome GUI?
thanks
Eli

If it's a PostScript enabled printer (if it's less than 3-4 years old, it should be), you can use the "Generic PostScript Printer" listed under the G's.
