does anyone know how to find out the name of a window. I know it is set in WM_NAME and you can use the XGetWMName() fucntion to find out the name. How do find ou the name of a window without calling the function XGetWMName()?

The name is mormally set at the top of the window eg. if xterm is open use Terminal -> set title to see the name of the window.
