Can any one tell me how does WinNT client discovers its PDA or BDA. How does the query goes through the router?

some usage of tcpdump will give you an idea of the messages begin passed back and forth between computers on a tcp/ip network. Try dumping this to a log file when one of your windows systems is booting. Because tcp/ip is broadcast to every machine, to can watch all the activity on the network from your network side ethernet card on your linux machine. That's basically how I learned http GET and POSt commands using cookies.
