You need fips.exe (a partitioning program), my copy came on the Linux CD. First you defrag your HD and make a second partition, then during the install you should get the option of making a boot disk or adjusting your Master boot record so you can choose at boot up. I SERIOUSLY recommend you to back up your hard drive as FIPS can be a little quirky AND do the boot disk as I messed up my MBR by trying to make a dual boot system. Good luck.
JOhn

I did the following procedure and still couldn't get RHLinux 6.1 to boot:
1. Use FIPS to reduce my WinME from 18 GB down to 10 GB. Created a second partition worth 5 GB for Drive D:, leaving a 5 GB partition for RHL.
2. Use EFDISK I partitioned the remaining 5 GB to a swap partition and the rest for RHL root partition for a workstation-class installation.
3. I booted on the RHL CD-ROM, did the install fine up to the end.
4. Use MRBOOTER to define WinME and RHL boot, with RHL pointing to the root partition.
I can boot still WinME. However, I get a garbage message at the bottom of my screen when I choose RHL.
Did I miss something here?

I finally decided to stay with using a RHL61 boot diskette, using a DOS batch menu to choose between WinME and RHL.

Win 98 and Linux dual boot is not big deal when u install Linux 7.2.If Win 98 is already installed u can install Linux 7.2 easily. After u do fdisk in linux it will ask for default OS (Win 98 or Linux) loader.
U continue with linux installation and after everything finished reboot the system.U can see the options to boot, eithr linux or win 98(DOS).Thats all.No other configurations required
