I am using Redhat 9.
When I'm using Gnome, everything works just fine. Then I decided to log into KDE (my personal favorite) and have discovered a strange problem.

Whenever I try to delete or move a file or folder to the trash -- I get this error : "could not rename *****(whatever the filename is)" and then of course nothing is deleted.

I've checked and I have the proper permissions.

Any ideas what is causing this? It is a brand new installation.
