Hi,
Im using redhat 9 and i need the new drivers for
my graphic adapter (geforce mx 440 64mb).
so i tryed nvidia.com for the drivers (for all u who
have downloade any this from nvidia) when i
come to the third select (OS) there are tthree linux
AMD64, IA32 and IA64 whis one should i use, iv
got an
AMD "thunder bird" 1.4 ghz something cpu and i
guess it is AMD64 but im not sure.

I think the nomenclature you are seeing means:

AMD64= AMD's 64 bit proc
IA32= Intel Architecture 32 bit proc
IA64 = Intel Architecture 64 bit proc

Is there an AMD32 listed? The AMD Thunderbird is a 32 bit proc, so if there is not an AMD32, I would try the IA32 before the AMD64.

Athlons are IA32. "AMD32" wouldn't be any different from "IA32," except minor feautures like SSE2 or 3Dnow, but the compiler handles those.

I use the ia32 for my athlon 1800+ . It works great. TuxRacer will hit 135 kmp on who says pinguins cant fly?
