I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.1 in VMware Fusion on my Mac.
Ubuntu 64-bit (8.04.1)
lin_26
gcc424_libc27(I've also tried it on the 32-bit equivalent of the same OS)
I installed an API that came with some command-line apps for testing. I
have added their directory (libs and binaries) to my path. When I attempt to run one of these apps from anywhere on the system, it
tells me it can't find it despite printing the exact path to the app. The
following, for example, was run from my home directory:<user>@ubuntu:~$ listener
-su: /home/<user>/API/bin/listener: No such file or directoryIf I go to the directory containing the app and attempt to run, it still says it
can't find it.Any ideas why it can't find/execute the apps?

If it helps, here are the OS and file specs:

shared libs), not strippedI've run the same apps on another machine without
problems. Specs:| Operating System: lin_26
