Which version is best for new user?

CPU/Ram: p4, 1.5GHz, 128MB Ram

I am interested in installing Linux on my Win Xp machine. I have heard about Mandrake, RedHat, and PhatLinux. For a newbie to the Linux family such as I will be, which brand is best for a new user and why? Thanks for help!

if you're used to windows pretty
much any will be god as long as
you install the kde desktop with
it. personally i use readhat *hint
hint* but i'm not trying to
persuade you or anything. a good
place to check em out is
