I need to find the ISO for Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, and I go to Ubuntu's website today only to find out that today is the release date for the new version: Hardy Heron. LOL, that's what I get for procrastinating. Anybody know where I can still get Gutsy Gibbon? Is it still linked to somewhere on Ubuntu's site and I am just not seeing it? I'm a Linux newb so sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks Cuffy. I did the google search before I posted, but I just didn't look hard enough. I looked again when you posted the link and found Gutsy on the sixth link down. The third link had the beta version though. Anyway, sorry for being lazy and dumb.

Why do you want Gutsy its a old release and isnt long term support. Hardy will be supported till 2011 and is very fast. if i were you id give hardy a shot

My advice personally is to stick with Gutsy until Hardy has been out for at least a month or two. Ubuntu new-releases are notoriously buggy, especially LTS releases because the packages tend to be bleeding-edge. If you have a bittorrent client you can easily find Gutsy since it is still in high demand, perhaps now more than ever. One torrent on isohunt.com has 30k seeders.
