I found a program oon my other computer and I think I downloaded it a long time ago. I think (theorologically speaking) that I read it gave debian the Windows XP look and some other things I forgot. I looked everywhere and cant find out what it truly is... Any suggestions?

It's a desktop environment (like KDE, GNOME, and Xfce) designed to look like Windows XP, licensed under the GPL, and available for more distributions than just Debian (Gentoo's Portage has it, for example). The official web site is xpde.com if you want more information.

I don't know. I can't find it in the myDSL repositiory, and the Wiki says using apt might be dangerous. Why don't you use a non-minimalist distro and one of the more popular desktops?
