I set up a web server, I can see my test page from my linux machine and from LAN, but I can't see from out side machine, I installed mandrake 8.2. I ping my name.domain.com from outside ok, I ping the IP from outside ok. But when I use the browser from outside I can't see anything, can any expert can give me some ideas. Thank you.

Hi,
Try to set your server in other port than 80 ,your isp maybe is blocking this port.

Make sure that you have your apache.conf
and dns info correct.

Several bits of info that you need in apache.conf:

ServerName my ip address or dns web server name

and

Your document directory should look like this:

Options Indexes Multiviews +Includes
AllowOverride None
Order deny,allow
Allow from all


Then try to access your webserver by address.
