I,ve got an x-86 based computer,Emachine with intel celeron processor566mhz,127Mb Ram and about 6Gb free space and am using windows ME, I've got Redhat 7.3(valhalla?)discs 1,2,3 and partition magic 6, does this sound like the right distros?
question is: I've got partition magic 6 and I want to be able to dual boot with windows, now do I need to use partion magic 6 or is there a better partition to use.
Also, is installing very difficult?
Thanks for all your help.

no need to use partation magic for installing linux, just start installing linux, and carefully configure your partation while installing.
installing linux is very easy, just configure your Partation (and display driver) carefully-neeraj malve

Thanks neeraj malve!
Can you tell me if there is any consequence or bennefit to using Partion Magic 6 as opposed to the linux disk partitioning?
As you may have guessed, I'm quite the novice and don't want cause irrepairable havoc. Thanks
