vnc only works with ROOT
Name: larry Date: January 1, 2003 at 03:39:17 Pacific OS: Redhat Linux 8.0 CPU/Ram: Duron 1.3/512 megs
Comment:
I have a fresh install of complete Redhat Linux 8.0 and installed all the latest packages.
VNC only works when I start vncserver with ROOT. When I use any other user, the vncclient shows a grey screen and I can't do anything. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or haven't done. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
Can you be a little more specific here? I'm also having the same issue... is it how the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file is created, or a vncpassswd issue? Thanks!
