Hi, I just wondered if someone could tell me if visual C++ is supported for Linux. I know there is a Microsoft version, but are there other Linux versions? It seems like I should know this, but I just can't find the information, so thanks for the help for an idiot.

That's a nice program. I got it with Mandrake 8.1. I have been using it for my programming labs. Anyway, that's the best I've found.

Microsoft does NOT make anything for Linux! Probably never will. MS is more interested in destroying linux than providing software for it. I doubt it would even work in wine or winex (for running windows progs in linux).

I use both KDevelop and Red Hat Source Navigator. Both are very good, and each has advantages over the other.
