Vim Question

Okay. I feel stupid asking this question, but i have NO IDEA how to change this.......I pressed some key while my cursor was over the semicolon, and now all of my semicolons are highlighted yellow. I cannot figure out how to get rid of it! I tried :syntax clear and that just unhighlighted everything BUT the semicolons. Any help would help me not go crazy!

I do not usually use vim, but 'u' (no quotes) is an 'undo' command to 'undo last n changes', per the vim guide.

How about just setting up another search (which is what highlights things)? Hit "/" and search for something not in the document or that appears only once....
