Comment:

I have a RedHat 8.0 PDC and win98 clients and I have a printer shared off the linux box.

My problem is not really a problem as I can print from the clients to the print server. However, on the windows machines, I have a print job always showing in the queue with the document name /usr/share/printconf.

Does anyone know how to get rid of that? My relevent lines in smb.conf are as follows.

[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
printable = Yes
browseable = No

[epson]
comment = epson stylus color 600
path = /var/spool/samba
valid users = student tech teacher
printable = Yes
browseable = yes

Any hints would be appreciated...

Wes
