You should have no problems using System Commander to boot Linux.

Use the "install new OS" wizard like you did with Windoze.

Choose to let Linux to be any where on the hard drive.

Some Linux distro's need to be installed below 8.4Gb.

But I know for a fact that Red Hat 7.3 And Mandrake 8.x can be installed any where on your hard disk.

I hope this helps a little.

Here are all the OS's I boot form Systen Commander on one machine:

Win NT 4.0
Win 98 SE
Win 2000 Professional
Win XP Professional
Linux Red Hat 7.3
Linux Mandrake 8.1

I use System Commander Personal Edition, which came with Partition Commander. I boot Win98se and Mandrake Linux 8.2 Powerpack Edition.

When installing linux, you don't need to use the OS wizard to do it, if you are like me (only 2 different OSes).

I used system commander 7 OS Wizard to set up read hat 7.3 and got lots of problems when I got to the linux install. I finally cleaned up the disk and then installed red hat from the install boot disk and it took care of everything that sc7 was supposed to do correctly.

It could have been me that screwed up...the good news is it worked.
