Hi.
I have a Red Hat 9 computer that I would like to use as a Media Center for watching/recording TV (PVR), listening to music, watching DVDs, etc. I have been looking at Freevo (http://www.freevo.com) but have a few questions first.
1) Has anyone had any experience with Freevo? Is it good/bad/ok as a Media Center?
2) Is there any video capture cards that are compatible with Red Hat? I was looking at the Hauppauge WinTV Go capture card ( http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=1&b=g&qp=0&bookmark=bookmark_0&oid=29253&catoid=-10266). Is this card compatible with Red Hat 9?
3) I am looking for a remote control for the computer. Can anyone recommend any for a Red Hat system?
