Im trying to set up my linux box to use a proxy server to route through, I already have a proxy address I can use, but have no idean where to set it in linux. Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Are you trying to surf the web? If so, you set the proxy server address in the browser software. If you want literal directions you have to tell us what browser software you are using. In Netscape this can be set in the preferences applet. Open Netscape on the edit menu click on preferences. There you will find the proxy entry text box
