USB-Webcam HELP

Hi all. I have the 2.4.x redhat kernel running on my webserver. Currently, I use my windoze pc running webcam32 to ftp my webcam pic to my webserver. I'd like to have my USB-webcam hooked up to my linux webserver, thus eliminating having to use my pc for capturing the webcam.
I have video4linux compiled in the kernel. What else do I need ? I can't find a "HOW-TO" or anything similiar. How do you mount a usb-webcam ? Instructions appreciated.
Summary: You may be able to get the wheel working with a small program called imwheel. I don't know about RedHat, but there is a procedure on the SuSE website for getting the wheel to work. Sorry, I don't kn...
