Hi- Just installed linux and have a problem seeing my Maxtor 80 GB hard drive which is partitioned into four 20GB DOS partitions. How do I see my USB connection? How do I mount the external hard drive. I am using a Aptek USB 2, 5-port hub. My printer is hanging off the USB hub and I can't find it either. Any help will really be appreciated.

Just another Newbie :-)

You might find that your hard drive appears as the first unused SCSI hard drive on your system, try mounting /dev/sda1 (that's how if works for USB memory sticks and cameras).
